To celebrate the momentous occasion, Chef Patron Francesco Mazzei has created a special dessert available for the Jubilee weekend…introducing his very own Zuppa Inglese!
Typically from the Emilia Romagna region, the Italian dish Zuppa Inglese (quite literally ‘English soup’!) dates back centuries, and many Italians claim, was inspiration for The English Trifle!
Available from 30th May to the 5th June, tuck into Francesco’s Zuppa Inglese (£12), a refined take on the Zuppa Inglese his mamma used to make him as a child, with leftover biscotti. Francesco’s version features vanilla custard, cream, bitter chocolate mousse, pistachio cream, mascarpone soaked sponge with Dubonnet (in homage to her Majesty) and strawberry juice, raspberries.
Available for lunch and dinner from 30th May to the 5th June.
